Selected prints from this ongoing project revisiting places from which she has strong memories. Elle works with vintage film, Polaroids, Silver Gelatin & Cibachrome prints in the darkroom to recreate her childhood memories and dreams.
INSTANTS OF LIGHT
Selected images from this series of forgotten dwellings in the Scotland. Hiking in the Highlands Elle discovered homes being reclaimed by nature & researched stories about former inhabitants passed down through generations of locals.
Experimenting with discontinued films (including 35mm Polaroid) she creates the strong sense of atmosphere of their mysterious histories.
